President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has announced a nationwide generator replacement program to address power supply issues across the Maldives before Ramadan. The initiative comes in response to deteriorating FENAKA power plant generators due to poor maintenance, with the Finance Ministry and state enterprises working on solutions. The President assured that improvements would be visible within two months and emphasised that all islands would be included in this comprehensive power infrastructure upgrade.
