President Dr Mohamed Muizzu announced that the 2025 budget will prioritise implementing development projects while addressing previously delayed initiatives. During his visit to Gaafu Dhaalu Rathafandhoo as part of his Huvadhu Atoll tour, he outlined plans for a volleyball court, an indoor gym, a youth centre, an upgraded health centre, and a multipurpose school hall. He emphasised that 2025, 2026, and, to some extent, 2027 will focus on fulfilling his campaign promises and manifesto commitments.
