The Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) has announced the Women’s Edition of the Maldives Travel Conference 2025, set to take place in Addu City on January 25, 2025. The event, focused on empowering women in the tourism sector, will feature discussions led by female speakers on topics such as increasing opportunities for women in Addu City and addressing societal barriers. The conference is organised with various partners, including the Ministry of Tourism and MMPRC, and will include a free financial literacy training session for women, with registration open until January 20, 2025.
