President Dr Mohamed Muizzu made history as the first Maldivian head of state to visit Estonia, where he was formally welcomed by President Dr Alar Karis at the Presidential Palace in Kadriorg. The visit aims to boost cooperation between the two nations, particularly in digital technology, cybersecurity, e-governance, and environmental protection. Accompanied by key technology sector officials, the President participated in a ceremonial welcome featuring both national anthems and a Guard of Honour inspection.
