At the inauguration of Dharumavantha Hospital as a tertiary-level facility, Health Minister Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim highlighted the missed opportunity of the hospital’s underutilisation since 2018. He praised the current Government’s effort to addressing the healthcare needs of the people. The Minister also stated the Government's intention to expand beyond Malé to include urban centres, while also implementing proactive measures to promote a healthier population
