President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has inaugurated National Identity Card (NID) and passport services across all atolls, marking a major step towards decentralising essential services. The initiative, set to be fully operational by 2025, will be rolled out in phases, covering all atolls across the Maldives. This move reflects the administration’s commitment to providing equal access to vital services for all citizens.
