President Dr Mohamed Muizzu celebrated his government's first year in office, emphasising achievements in healthcare, including the introduction of an air ambulance service, the expansion of Aasandha, and the provision of bone marrow transplants for Thalassaemia patients. He also outlined efforts to tackle housing challenges with a new Shariah-compliant loan scheme and efforts to stimulate economic growth through initiatives such as bunkering services and decentralisation of governance. Additionally, the President reaffirmed his commitment to completing infrastructure projects, enhancing educational opportunities, and supporting religious education and teacher training programmes.
