The Maldives has donated USD 100,000 (MVR 1.5 million) from its Zakat Fund to the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) to support humanitarian efforts in Gaza. The funds will primarily go towards a clean drinking water project and will be distributed in two payments. This contribution reflects the Maldives' continued commitment to providing aid during times of crisis to the people of Palestine.
