The Maldives expects to welcome its two millionth tourist by 25 December, having already hosted 1.8 million visitors this year with daily arrivals exceeding 5,000. The country has seen a 9.2 per cent increase in tourist arrivals compared to last year. The Tourism Ministry projects potential growth to 2.3 million visitors through expanded marketing initiatives in both established and emerging markets.
