The fire that erupted this morning at a building managed by the Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development and Ministry of Construction and Planning was swiftly controlled through the coordinated efforts of multiple Government agencies. Maldives Ports Limited contributed by deploying staff from its safety department to assist the Fire and Rescue teams, while the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) provided vehicles and its Airport Emergency Services team for additional support. The fire, which began at 6:30 AM, was effectively tackled thanks to the combined resources and cooperation of various entities.
