Maldives sets sights on Arab market with bold 2025 tourism campaign

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) plans to expand its tourism promotions to the Arab World in 2025, focusing on the Middle East and North Africa through targeted roadshows and marketing initiatives. This marks a strategic shift to capitalise on the 67,224 Middle Eastern arrivals recorded in the first 10 months of 2024 and attract more Arab travellers by positioning the Maldives as a premier destination. The move follows MMPRC’s earlier success in revitalising Indian tourist arrivals through similar campaigns.
