Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel concluded his Official Visit to Türkiye today.

The Minister's visit to Türkiye was primarily focused on participating in the fourth edition of the Analytical Diplomacy Forum, which was held from April 11 to 13.

 On the sidelines of this forum, he has official engagements with counterparts from Angola, Azerbaijan, The Gambia, Ghana, and Hungary. He also has official meetings with the Minister of Trade of Türkiye, Omer Bolat, and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.

He also conducted official engagements in Ankara and Istanbul.

In addition, the Minister officiated the inauguration of the Embassy of the Maldives in Türkiye, which marked a milestone in the Maldives–Türkiye bilateral relations.

During the visit to Istanbul, Minister Dr Khaleel also interacted with the business community and investors in Türkiye and shared information on opportunities and insights into investing in the Maldives alongside the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed.

Foreign Minister Dr Khaleel was accompanied by Secretary, Dr Hala Hameed and Senior Under-Secretary, Hassan Hussain Shihab.
